Whatever happened to my rock and roll?

Has anyone checked out Audiogalaxy today?

They've finally pulled the plug on all of our illegal downloading antics, and have come to an out of court settlement with the Recording Industry Association of America.

On the RIAA website, they claim "this is a victory for everyone who cares about protecting the value of music".

Shit. Where am I going to go for my MP3s now?

The folks on I Love Music have posted some suggestions. Who here has tried out any of the alternatives?

I'm as sick as a parrot, as I was just about to upgrade to broadband on a *free* 3 month trial.

Audiogalaxy was lovely. I could go to an internet cafe, pick stuff I liked, and then go home and set off the download. No (well not much) crummy ads, a nice interface, etc.

Never mind the new Napster, I'd like that interface back.
