Indie Guilt thread on ILM. It had EVERYTHING on there.

nathalie, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Even BLURILLAZ?

DG, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"Whats the most unacceptable thing to come out of your ass"

Michael Bourke, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Watching The Detectives, on ILM. I learned a lot.

Christine "Green Leafy" Indigo, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

the one where the fat ugly cat first showed its heads, it also featured chickenbear.

Mr Noodles, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i like the thread connections one because you can play with it every few weeks or so...

Another great one was on no! FITE! oh NO! because besides being good fun on its own, it spawned other funs also (funs??)

i have lots of ones i like because of certain things which were said, like starry saying gaysexual, someone on ilm saying 'go all seigbran on wreck small speakers'

i had the absolute most fun with the undiesclub thread

Ron, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The one with Ronan trying very hard to argue that he's not a watersports fetishist

electric sound of jim, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

This week I really liked What were Carole Bayer Sager's tenant's 61 cassettes?

It's so mysterious.

Arthur, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i also like the AIM thread for practical reasons, plus it says "maura in cannibal ox ripoff shockah! IT'S A SCANDAL!!" which puts it in the bonus

Ron, Wednesday, 19 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"DO YOU EAT BOAT?" (Best in Greenspun overall)

ILE- Specific:
1. "ILE Search" (Most Useful)
2. "HTML" (Most Educational)
3. "When Will Mr. [Geoff's last name] Acknowledge My Innate Superiority?" (Best Throw-down)
4. "Common Sense Endings to Classic Jokes" (Most Entertaining)
5. "Isn't It Tempting To Think Plaid Trousers May Be Cool?" (Best Title)

felicity, Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

felicity you should link to do you eat boat

Ron, Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I can't. (Perhaps I should re-read "HTML"). It was in Norman Phay's "The Pick of the Other Boards" thread.

felicity, Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I like the ones where I won.

N., Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The ones about bras are my favourite.

Steve.n., Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Did you mean both legs the same length or the same length as yours. My inside leg is 31", I just measured it for you.

Graham, Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

[wrong thread]

Graham, Thursday, 20 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

the ile bar thread has become a strong contender indeed!!!

Ron, Thursday, 27 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

the most googled thread aka the hypermediated society thread....how's it been going anyway, has it been getting the hits?

unknown or illegal user, Wednesday, 3 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

ILE bar thread must die. It's like watching members of your family join a sick cult one by one and you think "NOT LENNIE! NOT HIM OF ALL PEOPLE".

Ronan, Wednesday, 3 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan is OTM. the 'fake bar' thing just kept reminding me of Johnny Vegas talking about BeautysCastle.com on Room 101

the 'most Googled' thread will never work particularly well. if you read how Google's ranking works then it needs more links both linking to it and from it. the Bangbus thread only became highly Googled because there was little else on the web about it

michael, Wednesday, 3 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm glad someone said it before me.

Christine did the site meter wrong on that thread so we can't actually tell if any googlers are getting to it.

Graham, Wednesday, 3 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
