I tried to email Tom but he didnt asnwer just to say no even so:

A weekly review of #1 chart songs on various other countries. Only a small review and some kind of periodicity with lets say around 10 countries rotating. Does it sucks?

Great idea. I was vaguely thinking of making mixtapes of the NZ charts & hurling them at unsuspecting Brits/Yanks¹ to ponder.

¹is this offensive? I don't want to use it, but I can't think of any other short words denoting Americans

Hi - I'm not sure I got the email or it might have been accidentally deleted in a big purge of spam - sorry Chupa!

I'm not sure I'd want to do it as a regular column - because regularity and FT seem not to go well together - but I would like to see it as a feature, with potential sequels. Cheers for the idea!
