I've seen three movies in the past 2 days - _Run Lola Run_, _The Prime Gig_, and _Affliction_. What've y'all seen? (All were good, though, compared to the other two movies listed, _Lola_ is the feel- good hit of the year.)

I saw The Bourne Identity, Thirteen Conversation About One Thing, Out of the Past (the Utah gay student club not the great Robert Mitchum movie) and I going to see The Believer tonite and probably Minority Report tomorrow after (even though I hear the ending suX0r). The Damon flick silly fun, the other two I saw last week were really quite good.

saw Spiderman last night and Star Wars episode 2 a couple of weeks ago. I can only remember one week when I went to the cinema twice and that was on consecutive days. They couldn't be more different films: 24 Hour Party People and A Beautiful Mind! Is Scooby Doo any good?

Saw About A Boy and a german film Das Experiment about a group of human guinea pigs in a voluntary prisoner/ward experiment curated by a group of medical frankensteins. Sort of Big Brother in Hell. Wasn't very good. The guy from run Lola Run (i like the translation!) played kind of hero part in it. Should have been made by an American Independent in pixelating black and white.

The nearest cinema to here is 12 miles/£4 away, and it only has 2 screens and rubbidge films. There is a multiplex 16+ miles away in Ashford but it's out of town one and involves climbing through hedges and running across motorways to get to without a car.

I am sad.

I see movies on TV all the time. Not so much at the cinema - the last one was that old ILE favorite The Royal Tenenbaums.

didn't 'Run Lola Run' come out years ago?

In the past few weeks I have seen Star Wars (twice), Spider-man, the Time Machine and About A Boy. I plan to see Minority Report and Scooby Doo and Powerpuff Girls as soon as they are released.

I find it hard to believe that the ending of Minority Report sucks - the story has one of the most brilliant endings I've ever read. Then again, the film version of Second Variety had the same head start and completely buggered it up in favour of a crappy fight scene.

i want reports on about a boy! also, while we're discussing hornbyflix (tm), did anyone like fever pitch?

Aw, I thought this thread was going to be about boning in the theatre. I'm disappointed.

I would have a tale to tell but that Claire "ironing board" Hoare girl stood me up.

Saw Episode II again last night on the digital theatre that's here in OC. And indeed, it's quite a crisp image you get.
