though you could makel ots of money out of that kind kind of pseudo snuff video things... I mean, not that it's similar, but Bob Flanagan's death thing was pretty neat

I don't think many of us are keen on dying alone, but good things can come from friends made on the net - you can meet sometimes, and have long correspondences about art and football and stuff.

I did die once - briefly - due to a massive asthma attack. Stopped breathing, went a fetching shade of blue, heart needed to be re- started with a defibrillator, the whole spectacular ER thing.

Having been there and done that, it holds no fear for me any more.

I think however that it could well be responsible for giving me the annoyingly unquenchable zest for life that I've had ever since.
