From memory - Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are usually set up between Uni & business as a kind of work placement, although don't they prefer to say "knowledge exchange" now as it's a bit patronising to imply the knowledge is transferring one way? My main point of reference here is that Pieminister Pies did one, something to do with best methods of refrigeration or meat sourcing or something.
