The eleven questions that were asked during Trig Brother II will be posted up here on Monday. See if you can do better than the contestants (NB not hard).

Tom, Saturday, 13 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Apologies to anyone I sulked at.

Graham, Saturday, 13 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

So, where are the pics?

Chupa-Cabras, Saturday, 13 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Congrats, Alix! Hope you can keep up with that lot;>

Nichole Graham, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Chupa, cameras were conspicuous by their absence, I think Graham may habe taken one or two!

I will win next year. I doomed myself with over-confidence.

Tip: Don't say "This beyootch is mine" or "I'm so gonna win" out loud.

jel --, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

HAHA! it was fun!

katie, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Alright, but my camera is screwed so these are inscrutably out of focus. Spice of Life, and outside the coach and horses: 1, 2.

Katie made it home! I lost my bet with Lixi. Or maybe I won. No, actually I think we both lose.

Graham, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Does jel have a child's leg hanging out of his pocket in 2?

Graham, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You've got some album covers there, at least. Let this be advance notice that I hope to return to the UK next summer as part of a round the world peregrination, so TB III must happen -- and I am bringing my camera again. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It was grebt, but I feel like shit today.

RickyT, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

As do I.

(Gadget fans will be pleased to learn I haf tightened the screws inside ^^^ camera and everything's gonna be OK)

Graham, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah Graham i cant see shit outta those pics, though i think taht on jels pocket is actually a broken leg with a Spiderman drawing on the thingie that covers broken legs taht i dont know the english name

Chupa-Cabras, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It's my forbidden planet bag, containing transformers comic, pinky and stinky book and optimus prime mini toy motorised vechile!

jel --, Sunday, 14 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Corr! ho wat fun, eh! only downer on the day was me getting so v pissed off at the unhelpful doorman. i was v drunk -- but in the morning i was sober, and he was probably still an unhelpful arse. grr

Tips for future contestants: make all your answers a bit rubbish and you'll go a long way. Also, don't nominate people that have been evicted already.

Alan Trewartha, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Rubbish answers obviously the way forward. I gave a sequence of rubbish answers culminating with a simple 'don't know' and somehow didn't get voted out for another 3 rounds after.

RickyT, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I had dreadful mood swings and I apologise for pissing anyone off (if there was anyone who shouldn't have been soundly laffing at me anyway)... I are rather embarassed now, and bloody hell my answers were bollocks.

Sarah, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I am afeared that those twelve hours of drinking may have permanently damaged my ability to use the English language correctly.

RickyT, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It was great day! Bar Billiards!

and on the train home I saw a man reading Jimmy Corrigan Smartest Kid on Earth, who looked just like Jimmy Corrigan.

jel --, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

see, i thought i wasn't that pissed when i left thee pubbe. but RickyT sa i was steaming! what's the craic?

katie, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Sorry. I knew I'd be too hungover to come. All I could do all day was lie on my bed in a pitiful fashion a whimper. A pub (or several) would have sent me into a huge black spiral of death.

Anna, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

and whimper, sorry.

Anna, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The scary Dive Bar (?) with it's sticky walls is forever embossed in my memory.

jel --, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

another tip, don't like sport.

I felt fine all day yesterday and feel fine now, see if you lot liked sport a bit more you wouldn't be such lightweights ;-)

chris, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

chris's tip is nothing to with Trig Brother. it's a useful rule-of-thumb generally.

Alan T, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I ate way too many crisps/bar snacks.

Jonnie, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

How did anyone get hungover - we didn'ty do the one drink per round rule this time.

Pete, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I was still quite drunk by the end of it - lots of boozing in the final pub. But I felt OK the next day except for my cheapo-chicken- struck guts.

Tom, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

mm, my gums were greatly scarred by the large numbers of pork scratchings/poppadoms/crisps consumed.but a lovely combination of pints of bitter and vodkas soothed them.

chris, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I felt fine & dandy on Sunday thanks to a) not getting to the pub till 6pm b) having 2 whole non alcoholic drinks c) avoiding all pub snacks and only feasting on chicken and d) drinking pure sweet vodka.

Emma, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I was fine on Sunday, got up at half 8. But, then I probably don't count in the hangover stakes! Today, I am tired, coz the people next door were singing songs til about 1am.

jel --, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Well Katie, if it's any indication, I was wondering whether you'd make it to the bottom of the stairs, or more to the point, how much gravity would assist in getting you there.

I still feel horrid. After my non-outburst I am so not drinking at the next thing.

Graham, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i only had 4 fuckin pints! and 2 of them were shandy! i didn't do ANYTHING out of the ordinary, didn't forget my shopping and remember getting home quite clearly. i was possibly a bit loud, but snot- flying drunk i think NOT. i'm glad i went home when i did though, as a few more and error could have beckoned...

katie, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, I don't think you were that drunk but you were in a *very* funny mood.

Graham, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

in what way funny? i am going to get defensive about ths.

katie, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You seemed perfectly delightful to me, Katie, as ever.

Of course I was stony coldy sobery.

Tim, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

were you acting up Katie? For shame.

chris, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, Katie didn't seem to be acting strangely!

jel --, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Neither do I recall any madness from you Ktee (although it is feasible that I was acting too odd myself to notice...)!

Sarah, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I believe we need expert testimony from the Arsemonkey (or I come to the conclusion that Katie is normally a weirdo).

Tom, GET ON WITH IT!

Graham, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I didn't enjoy 'eviction', but did enjoy the (half) day as a whole - in some way that I can't fully comprehend: it radiates, in retrospect, a kind of glow (what else would a day radiate?) - of well- being? - of ill-being? - of surprise and scintillation? No, not that: scintillation was scant. Perhaps of continuity: the passing of time; and of movement: the kinetic as principle of memorability.

the pinefox, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Left my notebooks at home so questions going up tomorrow, sorry Graham!

Tom, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

well everyone knows i am a...

WEIRDO, Monday, 15 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i hate you all

not really :)
