here i am, i'm avoiding greenspun.com because I'm not interested though I had an email from mark sinker re: his ears and after having several very concerned attacks, I've come onto the board to see if he is alright. After reassuring myself that this is so, I have turned up my boom bip and doseone and apples in stereo mix cd and listened to some music whilst thinking of a handle for two articles that i am supposed to write. on top of that, as you can see, i've been doing semi-regular work for the nme, and no, i really don't like the vines, as they are redd kross in disguise, been published several times and hating london (still).

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

though, i must say, getting tonnes of frickin' cds is great.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i am getting my ears syringed on monday morning => it is my fault really for leaving it so long, and will not be a problem if last time is a guide (c.six yrs ago)

but it hurts like billy-o!! becuz you have all these little hairs in yr ears which are called sillier cilia, and the wax is gummed onto them

it makes me cross not because it's painful (the treatment is the condition isn't) but because at work i feel all left out of everything

mark s, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

thanks for sharing the details with all of us...hope it all goes well mark s.

Julio Desouza, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

doomie- do you write under that name for the NME doomie?

Julio Desouza, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

errr.....to be honest, i'm not really thankful....yuck!

who wants to take bets that my vitrolic review of easyworld will not be published in the magazine? any takers? "muse auditioning for the latest dawson creek compliation" "created in a test tube at jive entertainment corporation" and my favourite "they have one song, and the gig, has a strange warholian effect akin to watching the empire state building movie, boring and uncomfortable" and "in twenty years time this will be reverred as fantastic kitcsh but at the moment it is completely inconsequential rock and roll!"

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

nah, but here's a hint, in the last article i used the word doomtown.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

normally i wd spill the grisly details only to my peerless bevy of phonebuffies, and not bother you shower, but the PHONE IS USELESS!! i put it to my head and nogopogo!!

mark s, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

errr...Mark sharing time is over. the last time i felt this queasy was when a well known model told me that she just shat spinach out of her ass.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

this thread is gettting very bad. Mark, you need to relax. Put some Xenakis on the stereo and crank it up!

Julio Desouza, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Who are you? (teehee)

davidh(owie), Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

There are so many blocked ear infections at the mo, I know two other people who have had this problem recently.

jel --, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I DON'T CARE ABOUT MARK'S EARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I a jerk?

amoral doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

ears freak me out more than the small hole in everyone's face called mouths.

i'm started a thread on earwax, so i can successfully avoid it.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Hope your grammar is better in your articles than what it is here.

Marc, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

do fuck off, you twit.

BYE.

sorry mark, i have plenty of time to be around irritating twits in london without coming here. see ya, definitely would not want to be ya.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Doesn't anyone like doomie? Did he like do somethink bad? Did he an mark s get into a fight? I thought they met up? Where will it all end?

davidh(owie), Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

all left out of everything

Is this some kind of fad?

Graham, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Mark and doomie are cool. Doomie gets bored with English Mediocre Twits who Twist in Front of Me. Get back on the cell phone. Blah blah blah. Is there no creativity in England? Self-serving. Thus the cultural industry here is Satan's own. Me? I would rather work with starving children in a Nike's shoe factory than deal again. And the cards are dropped. Having a funny accent does not mean cultured.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

and I disappear in the ether and refuse mark 's advances to draw me back into the mind numbingly boring debates of the use of the semi- colon.

samuel doomie beckett, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

pps. please do not respond to this thread as the strain of moving the mouse to delete emails coming into my in-box is far, far too much effort for the I Love Everything crew.

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You're a nice person, have you met Gale?

davidh(owie), Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I think Paul "Doompatrol" is great, though I don't bother w/NME for the most part, so I haven't seen any ov his writ0ring. Paul, you should try to get writing work for "Terrorizer" magazine, coz it's really good. Tonight I wnet to thee PUB for the 1st time in 8 months or more. A small quantity ov BUDVAR has got me somewhat pissed, how undignified et#c etc. I am listening to "She Hangs Brightly" by Maxzzy Star which I like a lot. The singer = k-r0wr, FWIW ramble ramble ramble. I hope yr well Paul, U shd move to newcastle or sheffield.

Norman Phay, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Norman Phay, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Norman Phay, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ah, "Sailing By" has just come on thee radio (blubs) Gawd how I love "Sailing By" it is so lovely & all that

Norman Phay, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

aack...norman, i've been querying living up north or wales. i'm going to branch out from the nme writing.....i'm doing up an article on the anti-con collective which is cool. london? blah. self important twits who like to discuss property, paper snow and other boring meaningless topics, who if pressed, can only talk about their selves, their jobs or their properties. and if no one is listening their just talk loudly about all three on the cell phone. obnoxious place obnoxious people non-creatives farcial bastards, really.

i shall listen to mazzy star tonight in fine tribute to a fine human being...!

doomie, Saturday, 20 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

though, i must say, getting tonnes of frickin' cds is great.
Wait till you listen to'em.

nathalie, Sunday, 21 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

hey I listened to Sailing By in a power cut last night (we must be back in 1978/9: trade unions and power cuts ...)

Doomie and Norman are both dead right about London, obv

Robin Carmody, Sunday, 21 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
