If someone wants to make an instrument track but doesn't want to sing we would be an ideal combo. But I can cobble together a song easily enough in a worst-case scenario.

odd future wolves GM trade them all (bernard snowy), Sunday, 27 February 2011 21:04 (thirteen years ago) link

Appropriately, the rhythms employ Ron’s signature surge and his carefully composed melodies fully integrate with a message that effectively sums up both this album and his life:

"To you there is no limit, knowledge is your key

Take the route of auditing and once again be free."

odd future wolves GM trade them all (bernard snowy), Sunday, 27 February 2011 22:35 (thirteen years ago) link

btw can anyone tell what they are saying in the chorus of the song I just took ("The Way to Happiness")

(the thing that is actually supposed to BE "the way to happiness"
it sounds kinda like "soul truth"??)

Bumpin' this beautiful barrel of weird!

The opener is hauntologically unsettling. I love The Gospel of Ken C (the organ wins it, mahn!). Karen D's 'Mining Song' made me think of Dirty Projectors (hope that's no insult to you, I for one love it). Snoball's is so much fun to listen to (*toot toot*), Edward III's <3 <3 <3 lovely Miami-vibe, love the piano too. Bernard Snowy's naked and ace rendition would make me a believer, Get Bent & Crüt's darkness is great, as is Mark G's slow jam. I love it all, basically.

This has just turned out a fantastic record, y'all!
