For instance, the lady who I passed in the hallway and who almost bumped into me (with a good half-metre's clearance all the same, mind). I apologised in a "whoops, sorry!" kind of way to which she glared at me with dagger-eyes and spat "Some people should LOOK where they're GOING!"
