Group emails/decisions to organise things and the inevitable failure thereof

Does this happen to you? Do you have that one friend who, not maliciously, but through weird personal kink manages to make every decision incredibly confusing?

Do people reply to the group email chain before reading all the emails, making your weekend away or meal out a total nightmare of confusion?

What is the solution here?

One person in my social circle, I won't say friend, is so bad at this that nobody now replies when they ask a question that is ready to set things back into freak out zone.

We stopped trying to do this. The same couple of people tend to pick something to do and then everyone who wants to come joins in.

it's only done for birthdays/weekends away. i seriously think some people have some kind of deep personal issue (and i'm not using that in the glib way, i mean it) whereby they panic when things begin to seem organised and have to revive confusion...

Oh my LG, between this thread and "I just became manager", one cannot think otherwise than that you need a lengthy holiday. I feel you, in this, yet again.

(I could do with such a holiday too tbh, I mean, gladly it is coming soon)
