Piercings: search and destroy

I kinda dig the tragus piercing but I think it would not work with my wee bumpy tragus.
Used to think septum piercings were the ugliest thing in history, now I'm kind of okay with them.

I've always kind of wanted an industrial but I also think they're kind of ugly. Pretty sure it would be the height of all folly to get one as I'd be in pain w/it + motorcycle helmet. My friend who got one avoided combing her hair for months so as not to touch it.

At one point my sister had six nose rings, three in each nostril. I mean this with affection and appreciation when I say she looked like a spiral notebook.

I have contemplated getting my nose pierced for about 15 years. Sadly, I'm pretty sure I'm too old now. I also used to hate septum rings but I've come around on the really tiny ones that just sort of skim the septum. On the right person they can look surprisingly delicate.

I have a tragus piercing in my right ear and also a conch. They look like this:

My very close friend is the owns a piercing studio and the next time I'm in his town I think he's going to do the same ones on the other side. He's ordered the jewelry and stuff already.

I 5 more holes in that ear and six in the other but these days only wear reg earrings in my first holes which are stretched to shit.

I've never really liked industrial piercings at all. Also, knowing how much those two hurt during healing makes me think an industrial would be horrible.

I rly like nose rings and sometimes I miss mine. I am also kinda into guy earrings atm and want to get one but think it might look weird w/ my hearing aids.

There was a good three months where I really wanted to get my right nipple pierced and the only thing that stopped me was not having a spare $60 to spend on a piercing so I mean thank heavens for being poor I guess.

I like most piercings... But the ones I don't get are small, non-metallic caps above your upper lip on in your cheek, because from a distance they may look like a big mole and not a piercing. I'm not sure why people like that look.

Also, nipple and genital piercings look cool, but on other people they may be a bit distracting when you're "doin' the do". Though you'll get used to it...

I'm really attracted to industrial piercings. Eyebrow piercings are pretty great too, but they do tend to reject. I don't really mind the Monroe either, which lots of people get all bothered about.

The only one I've had is a septum. I had wanted one ever since I was a kid watching Perry Farrell and I finally got it. Things were going just fine with it until one day I was running around town trying to track down my girlfriend (on some pre-cellphone era shit). When I finally found her she was like "yeah, someone told me 'some guy was looking for you. he had this THING hanging out of his nose.'"

The ones I really hate are septum and the one right at the top of your nose that makes it look like there's a bolt stopping your face from falling apart down the middle. Most of the others look nice on girls. I think facial piercings look a bit silly on guys though, and thus have never had one.

Right around that time, I also got a tongue piercing, but fucked up the aftercare somehow and got a wicked case of thrush, so severe dud on those.
