Do I need all this crap?

Graham (graham), Friday, 20 September 2002 12:44 (twenty-three years ago)

No.

what i normally do is pack everything. then when you get to the new place leave it in the boxes until you need it (or just buy new things if you can't find them) and after 3 years you can tell what you really need and what is just baggage. and then you do nothing about.

sub-optimal, yes, but that's just me

No, you certainly don't need all those books.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:20 (twenty-three years ago)

No, give me all your books and CDs, Graham.

I think Graham should give them to me instead, though admittedly the trans-Atlantic shipping costs will suck.

Every so often I clear out a fair amount of randomness from what I have around -- old papers and things like that -- but the Raggettstacks grow and grow...

I've now got everything in neat piles but still it's in no form to go in the car and I'm stuck. I leave in the morning (ie 7 hours)

How did the packing go, Graham?
(heh, I left all my fucking stuff in Dunedin, & it's in the hands of people who've (seriously) threatened to burn it, fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck)

It went fine - I slid stuff into boxes with no real care. It were grand.
