I don't hate Christmas, I hate the 'Christmas creep', ie. pushing Christmas-related adverts and other things back deeper into the autumn season. Yesterday I had a coffee that came in a Christmas-decoration cup. I don't get coffee-house coffee much, and it was delicious... but I was still very annoyed at the cup. I guess this thread is for overall griping about the Holiday season, the "reason for the season" and all that shit. I don't care if there's already a thread like this, cause I'm a grinch like that.

BTW, the Grinch is related to the Once-ler, right? Like, they are they brothers?

The only Christmas-related family I like are the Heat Miser and the Cold Miser.

"Jingle Bells" is one of the best-known and commonly sung winter songs in the world. It was written by James Lord Pierpont (1822–1893) and published under the title "One Horse Open Sleigh" in the autumn of 1857. Even though it is commonly thought of as a Christmas song, it was actually written and sung for Thanksgiving.[1]

I like 'Carol of the Bells' 'Good King Wenceslas' and the Leroy Anderson instrumental of 'Sleigh Ride' but the rest of the inevitable tunes are torment to me.
