I hope London FAPers enjoyed the Windmill. Great to meet you all.

After I left I crossed England: multicultural mulitperson tube; busy paddington; sleepy/half drunk train; deserted bus station; empty bus (apart from two 14 year old farmhands-on-speed) through silent countryside; supper and sleep.

So Did you stay long?

And what cross section of England did you make on your way home?

Off to London again now. No rest for wicked, etc, etc.

Urgh I ate nothing but fried chicken all of yesterday, I will have to purge myself by eating nothing but vegetables for the rest of my life. I feel dirty. I DO have a hangover. Curse the impurity of regular bitter.

88 bus, visited shop to see if they had either pasties or pastries. They had neither. Went home, ate toasty instead and went to bed.

159 bus to Streatham Hill, then up Leigham Court Road to home on foot, passing several stray foxes on the way (ha! so much for the C*nt Alliance). Home just after midnight. Found new meanings in "Golden Boy" by Res. Fell asleep trying to work out how to write something original about said track when Skykicking and Stevie Nixed have already done definitive analyses.

well once I start work again on monday we'll have to organise something for (perharps) mid-october as i'd like to meet other ILXORS (only marcello, mark and martin from london so far).

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 24 September 2002 16:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Did we not explain that you are only allowed to meet ILXers whose names start 'Mar', Julio? That's right, you weren't there when we took that vote, were you?

I left with Tim (we didn't go home together, I'm afraid) at about half ten. I took the Central then District to East Ham. I was reading a Heinrich Boll book and listening to an old Trojan comp, and I didn't notice the people around me, which is as per usual.
