wondering if anyone else has watched this ? one of the most original, and emotionally harrowing movies i've watched. demolishes the idea of salvation through art completely...

did lazono direct anything else ?

I saw it at the time and remember liking it a lot, although all I remember beyond that is a scene involving tomatoes and "You can't always get what you want" on the soundtrack. My old friend imdb informs me that director Jean-Claude Lauzon also did "Night Zoo" in 1987, but died in a plane crash in '97 while working on his third feature. Oh and Saint Etienne used a still from "Leolo" for the American (I think) release of "Tiger Bay".
