RFI: Ruffy and Tuffy

Tracksuit-clad dreadlocked twins who appear briefly in the film ROCKERS playing football, I think. I was just wondering whether they were famous for anything else, like fantastic records or something. They're really great in the film, I'm sure they could have carried a film of their own - RUFFY AND TUFFY GO BANANAS, RUFFY AND TUFFY GO TO MONTE CARLO - a whole series in fact.

So, what else did Ruffy and Tuffy do?

I'm not surprised people feel intellectually intimidated round here.

Stuart Little 2
The part of Snowbell was played by four different Persian cats. Ruffy and Tuffy were called in for the stunts, while energetic Rocky was used for scenes that required the cat to be on the move. Lucky Prince handled all the close-ups. Sassy alley cat Monty was played by two Tabby cats – Merlin and Magoo.

Thanks Andy, I'm a big fan of Stuart Little, as it happens.

Black Star sounds about right, no doubt the little tinkers were on a 'back to Africa' tip.

I encourage everyone to ask their workmates if they know anything about Ruffy and Tuffy.

Was that a lion, Tim?

Having read the Stuart Little article, I'm pretty convinced it's the same Ruffy and Tuffy.
