You missed Partick......

I'm afraid I don't think I've been to any not on that list. I don't use the underground much - taxis are so much better.

You've never been on the Underground? Can I cadge a lift next time?

Anonymous (Anonymous), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:22 (twenty-three years ago)

I said much, not 'at all'. I walk mostly. The underground is like, 5 minutes from my flat, which is far too far to bother with.

I've been to Partick!!! Where else?

underground stops in liverpool:
lime street;
central;
james street;
moorfields;
hamilton square (birkenhead).
er, that's all of them. liverpool is so much smaller and therefore less exciting than london or even glasgow.

michael wells (michael w.), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, there's
Bridge Street
Kinning Park
Govan
Shields Rd (I think)
Think that's all of them innit?

Anonymous (Anonymous), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Finally. I thought we'd never cover it. We showed London.

david h (david h), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:29 (twenty-three years ago)

I thought the point was to have been to them all. Have you, anonymous?

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, I used to get the Uground every day and when one circle breaks down you have to go all the way around on the other, so I've been through them all, but I've never actually stepped on land in Shield Rd or Bridge Street - am I disqualified?

Ah. Fuck. Yes, yr dQd. Hm. Marcello, Ally C, Gillanders, Momus (haha) to thread.

david h (david h), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:43 (twenty-three years ago)

I've been to all north of the river but none south.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Liverpool and Glasgow have Undergrounds!!!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!!!?????

Graham (graham), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:56 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes well, South of the River is scary. Anyone ever done that Uground pub crawl thingy, where you get a day pass and have a drink at the nearest pub to each stop?

Anonymous (Anonymous), Thursday, 26 September 2002 13:56 (twenty-three years ago)

haha!

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 26 September 2002 16:58 (twenty-three years ago)

graham, yes, liverpool has an underground. it eradicates all those irritating level crossings in the city centre.

Liverpool's underground is the lowest-altitude point on Network Rail, and also has one of the steepest gradients.

fifteen years pass...

A simple, nicely designed game where you have to name all the London Underground map stations.

https://london.metro-memory.com/

It's taken me most of today but I've managed 69%, as I'm working station names keep popping up in my head, fucked if I know what stations are on the extremes of the Elizabeth Line tho'
