I know! I've watched my fair share of shlocky horror movies, but when Romano stepped into that chopper (!) rotor I almost threw up my Hamburger Helper. Did you see how far his arm went flying? Fucking Christ! Or are you talking about how sexist the male doctors in London are?

Bryan, Friday, 27 September 2002 18:36 (twenty-three years ago)

As Bryan says, Doctor Romano got his arm chopped off by a helicopter rotor while arguing with Lewis and Kovac over which patient should be airlifted out first. (The male doctors in London were pretty ridiculous, though, as was the Carter/Abby shagfest.)

I MUST SEE THIS WONDROUS SHOW.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 27 September 2002 20:10 (twenty-three years ago)

I watched it, and I have to admit I was shocked. My hand went to my mouth (in an "I'm so shocked" manner), and stayed there for at least 30 seconds. It was pretty gruesome, but the shock came more from the completely unexpected nature of it.

I watch ER fairly regularly, despite the fact that I dislike many of the characters on it.

Much like my relationship with ILX... haha just kidding.

I MUST SEE THIS WONDROUS SHOW

I fear.

This does give me a thread idea, though...

And indeed, behold.

The only ER's I've had any interest in watching lately (and I've got a slight crush on Maura Tierney) are the one's that turn into slasher flicks, the one where they killed Corky's sister was fun and this sounds intriguing. The "Breakfast Club" episode they had last season (?) was unhinged.
