is the burroughsian proclivity of this board to sometimes place answers to questions in the wrong threads an accepted phenomenon?
how does it happen? - is it just user error? is it an intentional strategy on the part of the programmers to introduce additional chaos and randomize information?
i say don't go changing - it's very amusing.

Don't you see? It's a lazy way of being funny, or rather absurd. Kind of hard to believe it's still funny after several thousand attempts at it, but there you go.
Most non sequiturs are created when people respond either to points made further up the thread, or in a way that's not clear. Which is pretty much every post on ILX, ever, as far as I can tell.
