i just went to the fridge and before closing the door i was intrigued to see a carton of milk labelled "twee". for a moment i thought kindercore had started a fresh produce dept before realizing that it was 2% low fat milk, and "twee" (pronounced like 'tweer', and tweer is pronounced like 'beer') is afrikaans for 2.

so, like, the last time that you laughed at yourself.

mmmmm this kind of thing happens to me on a daily basis i'm afraid. somedays worse than others but hey what can i say opportunities for me to laugh at me abound.!
i recently went through all my rubbish in a determined effort to find a particular shopping docket which i believed to have a purchase of moisturiser on it. i might win 'wonderful' prizes if i sent in my proof of purchase etc etc. i found the docket after having to rummage through what must have been the worst rubbish i have ever had in my bin,the thing was all gooey and revolting of course,but i dried it carefully and on later inspection noticed that i had purchased a different brand of product so it was useless for the prize draw.

I laughed at myself for being such a walking disaster last night when I arrived for the Toronto FAP and couldn't seem to master the simple task of sitting down at the table without a) being under it, or b)knocking it over.

i'm closer to being happy with this thread, yes, thanks kim. am i happy in the larger scheme of things? let's say 'maybe', with the qualification that tonight i'm a cranky, overworked, underslept bastid.

today I was looking for my key, went through the laundry, and then realised it was on the bootlace around my neck all along! haha!
(I wear it round my neck as I'm always losing it)

On the way out of work, I did a dramatic shimmy in reception because I remembered I hadn't signed out of the building.

I just pulled out my camera to take a picture in the really nice morning light, and got frustrated that my 90mm lens wouldn't focus. Reason for blurryness popped into my head after I tried flipping lenses- I remembered that I didn't have my glasses on yet.
