apparently I never saw him in anything but Pleasantville, but he sure was nice-looking. RIP.

Not sure I've seen anything of his but "Pleasantville" and "Running Scared," but RIP.

Sometimes when I'm speeding down the highway in my fast little metal box, watching (and watching out for) all the dozens of other people moving around in their own fast little metal boxes, it suddenly occurs to me how we take such a crazy scenario for granted.

Dammit, this sucks. F&F6 was one of the most entertaining fims out this year, and I was already looking forward to the sequel.

Why is it ironic

you see polyphonic paul walker was the star of several movies in the "fast and the furious" franchise, which was a movie franchise about car racing in cars such as the porsche car that paul walker dieded in

this is ironic because cars/

u see cars are vehicles that go fast but not TOO fast, paul walker was probably thinking "oh wow, just like in those movies i starred in, the fast and hte furious movies about cars" when he died

Walker's contribution to Running Scared's greatness is essentially nil though

Local film critic said Running Scared; had no idea this film had any reputation.

I just saw "2 Guns" last night (it was fun), and it had a huge (that) "Running Scared" vibe to it.

A vicious, incoherent shoot-'em-up about a two-bit hood (Paul Walker), a dirty cop (Chazz Palminteri), Russian mobsters, Italian mobsters, a married couple who kidnap and murder children (used as comic relief), and a nickel-plated revolver that everyone's trying to get his hands on. Wayne Kramer wrote and directed, and I'll bet he sleeps like a baby every night.

Iirc correctly, it was one of those comic-book movies (like Sin City) that played very much in tune visually and attitude-wise with its source material.

I enjoyed all the Final Fantasy movies but Final Fantasy 3 was my favorite. Unfortunately, that one didn't have Paul Walker in it.

Running Scared is indeed hilarious, but I would never think to label the child murdering couple as "comic relief." It already has Paul Walker being assaulted with hockey pucks and a Russian gangster obsessed with John Wayne in The Cowboys.

Running Scared is a trash classic, F&F maybe the most entertaining modern action franchise, RIP

F&F also notable for being easily the most multi-racial Hollywood franchise ever. Walker was practically the token white guy in those movies.

"I'd made a few runs into Port-au-Prince and was negotiating with the army to give me baby formula, tents, extension cords," Walker told the Daily Telegraph, an Australian tabloid newspaper, in 2011. "I was hustling for everything."
