Why doesn't bread fit into the toaster properly???????

I always have to rip one end of the bread off, OR, turn the bread around to ensure the entire surface is cooked. Why? Why? WHY??????????? WHY DON'T THEY JUST MAKE THE HOLE A BIT BIGGER? BREAD HAS BEEN A RELATIVELY CONSTANT SIZE FOR YEARS AND YEARS (since sliced bread even?). IT really gets my goat.

What stupid, pathetic little things annoy you?

Either buy smaller bread, or buy a bigger toaster. I never have this problem, and my family has a habit of buying strangely shaped loaves. Toaster investment is the key, I think.

Little things that annoy me? Only big things annoy me. (or maybe I just see them as big things)

Yes, on reflection I definately see small things as big things. When I think of something I'll post it here.

Yeah, your toaster is shit. Can't you see this for yourself?

[I thought this thread was going to be about bad stand-up comedians]

How ironic.

I know others with the same problem. A bigger toaster eh? I'll definitely look into it.

Not while it's on obviously - you might singe your eyebrows.

I agree with you on the "grr, argh" of it all. I think bread is getting taller
