Kinda, sorta. Would definitely be in Portugal. I'd need two festivals at least though because I'm missing Jamie lidell, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Magazine, Gang of Four, Siouxsie, Charles Mingus, Amalia Rodrigues, Can, etc.

Heh, I was tempted to see if I could find 15 acts with no buzz whatsoever, and see if I could remain buzz-free until the end of the festival period. But I guess finding a collection of forgotten 90s bands, unknown local bands, and my friends' dubious home recording projects would not be such a challenge really (though I totally would go and see them all live, and am sad to leave some probable no-buzz bands off my festival, not that I'm short of other candidates).

Still sitting on my hands waiting to think of a name I won't hate half an hour later.

mine isn't color coded by day (I assumed it was a 1-day extravaganza) I just wanted it to look kinda pretty and it's sorta by genre.

ok, i've just ditched 13 of 15 and started over. too many similar lineups (talking heads, smiths, joy division, lindstrom) so i thought i'd make my fest more tailored to the festival title and my username so, here ya go, the new and improved lineup. i've got nearly 900K left to spend so everyone at the festival gets an ounce of weed and all the baked goods you can eat free of charge.

My festival was meant to be a lolgoth thing - I didn't realise we were listing what we'd actually want to see if we were creating an actual festival. I'm gonna think about this, and add some NOISE and probably some post-rock (or I could just c&p a random UK ATP line up).

Oh I would definitely go, particularly if I got to choose what era of the band appeared (so e.g. Tony James doesn't get within a mile of a Sisters line up). What I'm saying is if I was to choose 15 acts for my ideal festival, rather than 15 old gothish bands I like, it wouldn't be those fifteen.

I see the fantasy festival more as a lineup that you could never actually get to see (with whatever era band you want). Your ideal lineup. Not your ideal lineup for a festival next year with only current bands or bands reforming who dont have lots of dead members.
When i picked led zep to headline i mean 70s zep and a young eddie hazel playing with funkadelic.

of course if you want to win the whole thing/prize you choose popular hype acts (and muse/coldplay etc)

of course if you do it as a 3 day fest you can theme it for each day like i did.

you could of course have 1 day dedicated to goth.
