xp well, quite apart from the politics of 'should'...

I have cuckooland, and I've heard a fair bit of other wyatt, as a couple of friends are big, big fans. I respect the guy a lot for many reasons, but aside from soft machine his work just doesn't quite reach me. it's possibly the voice.

m the g, Monday, 30 November 2009 15:32 (fourteen years ago) link

Really? Not even Rock Bottom? It's worth a listen for the production at the very least. The last minute or so of "Sea Song" is one of the most gorgeous moments in pop music IMO.

Daruton, Monday, 30 November 2009 15:49 (fourteen years ago) link

'sea song's probably the tune of his I know best. I agree, it's beautiful – in theory. but I shamefully admit that I just don't feel it.

I'm clearly all dead inside.

m the g, Monday, 30 November 2009 16:00 (fourteen years ago) link

O, I made no such pronouncement.

Daruton, Monday, 30 November 2009 16:08 (fourteen years ago) link

didn't mean to suggest you did...just an acknowledgement of the charred lump that resides in my chest.

how do you listen to an album if the entire thing is available for streaming? If I play the first track it doesn't go to the next one automatically...
