I definitely don't hear any industrial music having any influence on the eighties revival
A Place To Bury Strangers draw from industrial influences.

I think there's a lot of new wave/electronica coming back mostly. Well I'm seeing it anyways. That broody Chameleons/Comsats bassline is all over new bands (much to my delight!), and there's a general krauty/new wave synth thing going on esp in Australia (Presets, Midnight Juggernauts, etc)

i have seen many references to no wave. particularly "DNA" I recognize aspects of their music in alot of contemporary noise and experimental music. and then there is Blonde Redhead of course who even lifted their name from a DNA song.
