Even in this degraded company Once Upon A Time is singularly awful. The video for "All The Things She Said" is still the worst video ever.

Perhaps it's the knowledge that Jim Kerr's vocals and mannerisms are primarily responsible for Bono being such a twunt?

I never 'liked' Simple minds, as I didn't really know their early stuff, so don't feel that sense of loss that the people who *did* like them, then watched them turn to shite.

I have sympathy for them, I really do.

I loved and still love everything the Minds did up to and including New Gold Dream. But I remember the horrible sinking feeling in my stomach when Peter Powell premiered "Waterfront" on R1 and we just knew they'd sold out. It felt like a total corporate smack in the face.

I think Kerr started it, Bono just took it further. "It", btw, being a self important prick.

No no, mullet and flag at Red Rocks was a year ahead of "Waterfront."
