That was pretty amazing. Never thought I'd see 4/5ths (how else to describe it? Also thx to Masonic as I didn't know who most people onstage actually were, not looking exactly as they did 20odd yrs ago) of Spacemen 3 AND Kevin Shields onstage together. Playing Revolution. That was something.

Home now - ha, those were Diane's pictures you just retweeted on Flickr! I tried to take a couple of pics, but they were shit. Elaine Dream Machine was also taking pics so I'm sure there will be lots floating round tomorrow on Facebook.

She and Diana were way up front - I was kinda towards the back, by the sound booth where I knew the sound would be really good (and also I would have a seat during the interminable TVPs set)

Adamrl, have you actually seen the TVPs perform in, oh, about the last five years or so? If your idea of a fun time is watching a man utterly ravaged by addiction and mental illness self destruct in front of a microphone, then I can see how it might be enjoyable, but frankly, I find it painful and slightly embarrassing to watch on the same level as watching a drunken uncle smash up a wedding. But, you know, to each their own.

Anyway, this isn't the place. I don't want to besmirch the memory of last night.

But I can't go along with the labelling of those YouTube clips - it wasn't Spacemen 3. You need Pete and Jason for that. Not saying it would have been any better, could well have been worse once they start trading blows on stage, and I'm not taking anything away from one of the best sets I've seen in recent times. It just wasn't Spacemen 3.
