fun fact: a full 1/3rd of these songs aren't about love or sex or relationships in any way, it's not like "The Next Episode" is the only outlier.

Keyshia Cole is a really solid singles artist, even if she comes off like a Mary J. clone and her singing is goofy sometimes really i feel like she's earned her spot with some good songs

I dunno, I always thought The Next Episode wasn't crossover because I always considered it a straight hip-hop track, since Nate Dogg's bit was really just an outro.

yeah w/ the next episode its not about subject matter, it just seems like nate dogg is way less R&B artist than hook dude & slippery slope & all that
