because Pitman is so blatantly and obviously entirely parody and novelty - cant see how you could argue otherwise - whereas there is an element of 'but seriously...' in much of Skinner'work however laughable you may judge the results of that - also SKinner appears to have a desire to sustain a career in what he does and to be pop as much as anything else but i suspect the Pitman thing is merely a means to an end - the person behind it just doing it 'for a laugh' but also maybe using it as a way to perhaps get into making other music and being a success in a more commercially-viable manner - just my suggestion you understand
