Dear scoot, it's a bit slower/chill and it's prob not what you were aiming for when you used the phrase, but I would TOTALLY classify this as "stoner/psychedelic dance music". It is awesome and I hope you love it; I mean, it's p much Spacemen 3 doing Kraftwerk.

xp it's so satisfying. everything smells clean and feels warm, things form piles, you can (as with dishwashing and lawn-mowing, my two other favorite chores) easily mark your progress, and you get to be like YES I CAN WEAR MY FAVORITE shirt tomorrow.

69, Wednesday, 13 July 2011 20:42 (thirteen years ago) link

exactly! it's so clear-cut! you can totally turn your brain off and feel productive. i love doing dishes too. mindless chores are awesome.

Chores and music is the bomb. Drum and bass + yardwork is one hell of a good time.

Hey, gr8080, you ever have your Motorbass moment? Find it kinda cleansing to pull it out once a year or so.

I need Super Discount. Big fan of Tempovision. Just typing that got "Three Day Weekend" stuck in my head and now I need to hear it like now. Or at least on lunch break.

two years pass...

This one starts out pretty mellow, but it gets more dancey as it progresses. The whole Dub Trees album is quite nice if you like psychedelic electronic dub.

last week i had a bit of a crusty dub-rave/planet dog revival at hq, most of which when sober was not worthy.

however, this dub trees album is very good.

suspect it was a one off ?

This Petar Dundov from a few years ago fits the brief and is mint.
