Or did we not include the Ego Trip stuff?--because Souls of Mischief- '93 til Infinity (album) is also missing.

I guess I mis-read the intro and assumed the Ego Trip lists were incorporated with the nominations. Is there a link to the full ET list?

Some really big songs we forgot to nominate: No BDP- "My Philosophy" for instance. No Common- "I Used to Love H.E.R."

I'm pretty sure I saw both of the Crooklyn Dodgers songs nominated and only "The Return" is here.

Yup. It wasn't that particular omission that bothered me - I just wondered if anything else had fallen off the list. Easily done with this many nominations to corral.

don't know what the point of saying "everything on the Ego Trip lists is eligible" if a) we're not actually limited to what's nominated anyway and b) the songs on the Ego Trip lists haven't been added to the big noms list.

I voted! the only way I was able to narrow down the tracks list in a way that didn't feel impossible was by limiting myself to only proper singles and cutting it off at nothing after 1999. was fun, though, can't wait to see the results!

So, you are going to do 20 tracks a day? Does that seem kind of heavy to anyone else? I think with tracks there is going to be more discovery/re-discovery and people actually taking the time to listen and judge and reply. 10 a day might be more manageable although that would take nearly 2 weeks to roll it all out, which might get old, idk. I don't really care, I'll be involved either way, just throwing it out there.

1. i had to work yesterday and saturday so i had no time to tally until today.

2. no-one but sports fans check ilx on weekends.

3. week long polls are what ilx is used to, can't be fucked w/ ppl bitching for something different happening
