Great song, but one that didn't age so gracefully IMO ... partly because Jarvis wrote much better pervy illicit affair songs later on (e.g. I Spy, Seductive B****)

No, Acrylic Afternoons is the best because he didn't outcreep himself - you can imagine that stuff happening everyday, everywhere.

yeah, AA beats I Spy for me - I've never been sold on the class war stuff in the latter - AA a much stranger piece of work, with the net curtain/eiderdown world around him, lying under the table - it's like the affair's super-sexual yet taking place in childhood memoryland.
