At some point I would very much like to do an Extreme Metal poll. No hard rock, no NWOBHM, no false shit. tru cvlt, grind, death metal and heavy thrash/thrashcore only. Can we put that in the calendar somewhere?

can i be a terrible person and withdraw my entry (Wire)? I'm just acknowledging that almost all the votes would go to songs from the first 3 albums (which we polled once). wouldn't be that interesting. and i only when i dedicate my own time and energy to doing a poll that i'm totally stoked about.

i knew there have been some changes with you William but happy that you are still able to keep this thread organized and running smoothly.

William, what're your plans for the Miles poll? I'm hopefully getting the big box set for my Christmas and am hoping I'll get the chance to do it some kind of justice.

Ballots will be longer than 20 spots though. Probably 30... 40 feels too big. My philosophy about these polls is that the cutting is as important as the ordering, and that the cutting should hurt at least a little bit.
