Webster Gradney (born September 6, 1985) better known by his stage name Webbie, is a rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He came into the hip-hop scene in 2005 with "Give Me That Pussy" which featured U.G.K. rapper Bun B and the song "Bad Bitch" was featured in the 2005 movie Hustle & Flow. Both singles are on Gangsta Musik, his group album with Lil' Boosie, the album was released in December 2003, both songs are on Webbie's debut album Savage Life which was released on July 5, 2005. He has a style that involves not making any sense while rapping. He is in the process of creating a new language that nobody can understand.

apparently not but this looks pretty good
ill defend fab to the death
― J0rdan S., Monday, 18 February 2008 02:28 (sixteen years ago) link
shit, the Fab/Drama is finally out? I got tired of them talking it up without actually dropping it like a month ago, Fabolous is pretty much the only mainstream rapper I get more excited to hear a mixtape from than an album.

only listening to flipper isn't a bad way to be
the new fat joe video is funny, i love joe but he's really making it hard to not hate him lately...not even like the songs he's on are bad, just something about him lately seems so stupid

WOW. Via a Pitchfork Media interview with Rivers:
Pitchfork: Can you elaborate on what a more experimental Weezer record might sound like? RC: Longer songs, non-traditional song forms, different people writing and singing, instrument switching, TR-808s, synths, Southern rap, and baroque counterpoint– for starters.
When asked for clarification on the rapping part:
Pitchfork: Oh, and who’s doing the rapping?
RC: Moi.
Now, I love both the Blue Album & Pinkerton very dearly. But that sounds like a fucking awful idea. Is he taking a page from Cosby’s book? What would “Buddy Holly” sound like with 808s?

I'm glad you brought this to our attention and are taking it seriously. Someone else could so easily assume he was bullshitting, but I'm pretty sure the next Weezer album will be exactly as he describes. I must go contemplate this development, I'll be back in a few hours.
