So is anyone going to buy Viva Bugged Out?????
(I apologise for "make you feel really alive", ick)

Yes, I've got this, and it is brilliant, the soundtrack to imaginary
World Cup winning celebrations. A Jon Carter mix is always a treat,
and this is especially welcome for making "you feel really alive" (no
need to apologise for that phrase), because if dance music doesn't do
that then what's the point? And recently it hasn't.
I've always thought that "big beat" became complete toss as soon as
some journalist labelled it, but before that there was a feeling that
any music could be played as long as it was fun to dance to, so dub
and latin funk were as much a part of the mix as acid hop lager
anthems. Viva Bugged Out! is a triumphant return of this attitude, as
good and eclectic as Carter's Heavenly Social mix (recommended if you
can still get it).
And Ronan, you're right about Lazy, that has to be deliberately
calculated to wreck people's Saturday nights. And you're right about
Good Life too, you may not be the first person to call it
unconditionally beautiful but some things are so true they need
restating.

Thanks Mike!
It's cool to know people are reading and care, you need to download
the George Harrison moment!
I love his Heavenly Social thing too, absolutely love it. "Yo I'm the
magnificent with the sensational style and I could on and on for like
a mile a minute"
