while i agree, i think it would be fair to call ott a "frustrated musician" as he's a musician and clearly frustrated

Makes no difference if his band sucks. I think it's good when music writers try to play some music or at least dick around with instruments - if only to realize that making really good music is hard, and give em a bit of humility. One would hope. Doesn't seem to have worked that way for Ott but whatevs
