Newsom I cannot stand at all. Neither the voice, nor the songs, nor the sound of the instrument. I think I'd almost prefer the voice of the singer of Sigur Ros - which is unbearable -to hers.

That freak folk movement resulted in a lot of shit that sounds tiresome imo today. Like banhart, etc Vetiver was okay

just saw that there will be re-pressings of All the Leaves Are Gone and Hazel Eyes -- both really great albums but Leaves especially, the first half is truly unbeatable if you like howling lady psych rock. Deathknell is still my jam.
