Oh god, this song is so classic it isn't even funny.

I heard 'Breakout' while shopping but I must have misheard the lyrics because I spent about a year googling variations on 'oh freakout' and 'well so do I' without success. then someone bumped this thread and I had a big aha moment when I looked it up on youtube. thanks ilx!

I don't care how bad the horns have aged. Love this tune.

xps the horns are actually OK on this. There are other late 80s songs where the horns have really aged.

Great song. Best bangs in music too, and still looking great at 57

Found out the version of this 12" I own has 3 unique mixes on it according to a rando review on Discogs. My interest was prompted after reading the liner notes to the new Durutti Column reissue where they talk about Andy Connell joining the DC live band.
