It’s a stupid title, a joke, of course. I could also have gone for It’s Money Time or It’s Bestseller Time. I’ve always had a thing for jokes like these.

yeah i pronounce it as "tear-yay" (first part rhyming with "pear") but that could be completely wrong

Todd Terrier (as in the dog) would probably be the closest pronounciation-wise. Definitely more of a yay than a jay at the end there.

ha as the subsequent million posts proved, it's just weird that so few have heard of todd terry!

(i mean, so few people who have heard of todd terje, ie are into dance music, have not heard of house legend todd terry)

I don't think it is a case of being ignorant of Todd Terry I mean as well as being a legend he dented the charts with bat mobile, just incredulity that someone would attempt such a crap pun for a moniker.

It isn't that bad I suppose, I just meant goofy humour in dance music is such a rarity is probably why the pun wasn't understood by some.

This album gets better with additional listens but skip the the Ferry track every time. It's either really bad or I'm missing something...

the ferry track is good and i never skip it

ferry track is great but i'm not sure i'd stan hard for it, i could see it getting overplayed v quickly. funny tho that ferry was going to record it regardless and terje just sorta took what he could get and threw it on the album

yeah it sounds out of place because it's more like a Ferry track that Todd Terje co-produced. but it's good. a pleasant little island on the album.

yeah i think it definitely works well within the album's sequencing/flow. also excited for husky-voiced ferry to start releasing things, is he singing like this on his current tour?

According to the Guardian review this week, Terje has gone on the record as saying he didn't actually get a chance to finish the album and it does show.
