Okay, that's just awful! I guess it's supposed to be a parody of some sort, but... what's the point?

Okay, now that I look at it a bit closer (I'd love to see a bigger version that wouldn't make me squint), looks like all the participants in it are male. So is it supposed like a queer satire of typical metal covers? But do any actual metal covers look like that? Certainly the art style feels more Crumb than Vallejo.
