Coming from a big U2 fan I think their albums are all good (in part)-to-great, with the two weak links being rattle & hum and how to dismantle an atomic bomb, but I still jam those on occasion. R&H is best listened to with the live tracks removed probably but even those have some good moments.

Pride (In The Name of Love) - Dunno this song at all, were the lyrics inspired by Lord of the Rings?

Mysterious Ways - Definitely know the chorus, and I like how funky it is in general

Numb - Nope, but what is this song? Seems kinda 'out there'

Discotheque - Feel like I know the parts that aren't the chorus, maybe? Why isn't this song on Spotify?

Go West - Not actually a U2 song, originally by the Pet Shop Boys

Obsession - Not actually a U2 song, originally by Animotion (?)

Don't Disturb This Groove - Not actually a U2 song, originally by the System (?)

Doin' It - Not actually a U2 song, first result on Google gives this link:

Appears to be originally by LL Cool J

I Kissed A Girl - Not actually a U2 song, originally by Katy Perry

Sail - Not actually a U2 song, originally by AWOLNATION (?)

Get Ur Freak On - Not actually a U2 song, originally by Missy Elliott

Call Me Maybe - Not actually a U2 song, originally by Carly Rae Jepsen

It seems surprising that a popular music fan could have grown up in the US without hearing "With or Without You" before the age of 28 but at least you do know "Where Streets Have No Name".

Were yr parents anti-radio/tv or something? Cos this is quite weird, U2're p inescapable

Bono supposedly faxed the Boys a response: "What have we what have we what have we done to deserve this?"

Think my favorite four songs before discovering AOL Instant Messenger file sharing were 2 Unlimited - Ya'll ready For This, The Immortals - Techno Syndrome (as used in the Mortal Kombat movie), REM - It's the End of the World (As We Know it) (as used in Independence Day), Blur - Song 2 (as used in Starship Troopers' TV commercials)

I like the intro to this, sounds like a mid-period Metallica song

Spotify timely decided to insert an ad in between the two despite the fact that these two songs are supposed to be a song suite, afaict

Haven't heard either half of this suite at all though

龜 might prefer other bands' covers of U2 songs like Creed's "Despite All My Rage (Rat In A Cage)". also the album U2 recorded with South African musicians "Cedars of Lebanon"

my intro to "Out of Control" was at the last 2000-2001 show at Miami. Terrific version.
