true, tom. I thought the point of artist polls , and the reason for the queue system , was so that people take part in lots of them and try and learn about the bands during nominations and voting time. But i guess shakey was lucky 19 people did vote. deserves better than fucking xtc

P-Funk is amazing but so are XTC. I voted in both polls (67 songs in XTC and 100 in this) Even though I voted for more in this one for some reason I found putting my P-Funk list together way harder. Parliament and Funkadelic are bands I've played a lot in my life but I might always struggle to remember their song titles or which song is from which album. This was a hard poll in the same way the disco and Motown ones were.

my 1, 2 & 4 are already goodies gone: half my mere 20 song ballot has already placed outside the top 40! Most of the rest of my ballot is kind of obvious stuff, so I don't have a lot left to root for as underdogs --- had no idea that what's a funkadelic or unfunky ufo or placebo syndrome could possibly count as underdogs though! It's going to continue to be educational.
