"I'll Bet You" a.k.a. "I Bet You" was the early one I thought should make top 10. That's my jam. I can't knock "Maggot Brain," the song - it's a brilliant performance - but it's never moved me as much as it should. I realize that's probably my problem and not the song's, and my impression of the Eddie Hazel original is unduly affected by the fact that I heard, and loved, the live Michael Hampton version on One Nation years earlier. Still voted for it, just not in the upper reaches of my ballot. I say "Maggot Brain" or "One Nation Under A Groove" takes the top spot on the poll.

Nice to see the love for Standing on the Verge of Getting It On, which really is one of their peaks - it's among the handful of P-Funk LPs that smokes from start to finish.

Damn, a whole bunch of my top ten has already placed. I voted Groovallegiance at number 3 and "I Got a Thing" at Number 5.

Can't believe "Hit it and Quit It" missed the top ten.

this really is such an unusual song. If I recall correctly Billy "Bass" Nelson briefly returned to the fold to play on this, ostensibly because Bootsy couldn't get it right (or so he claimed).

Live version with the 'Space People' intro is the superior version.

I think the first time I heard of P-Funk was when I saw the album cover for Trombipulation and thought "wtf is this", probably early 80's

then around 1990 somebody played me Wants To Get Funked Up and it all made sense

the 1980s german tv festival clip with flea and keidis joining funkadelic onstage however isnt
