Yeah, what was that Jimmy Ray thing for? An 'introducing' record then no follow up?
A bit like 'Return of the mac' where we didn't know he'd been here before.

I guess this is the Pick a band that is known for a few well known hits and then pick one of the others.
Yesterday was doing some 'list my cd collection for putting on discogs' and found "Room on the 3rd floor" McFly.
So, that one.

Anyone from NYC know the building in which Dog's Eye View are playing in that video? Don't recognize the song at all but the whole thing was filmed right in my neighborhood at the time. That room is the only thing I can't place though the view indicates it's the same location.

Drinking In LA is such a weird song. And by song I mean layers of radio chatter and a trickily-worded chorus. Still great.

My favorite forgotten 90s hit:Whale - Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe
I was weirdly fascinated with this for about 18 months. The video was in heavy rotation on MTV Europe in early 1994, and stood out mightily next to the rest of the playlist (Dylan's "Blood In My Eye" was also big on MTV Europe for some reason).
Later, couldn't find any Whale records in the US until We Care came out (which was shockingly good, and Xgau loved it, iirc). Saw them live in 1998 opening for Tricky, who they blew off the stage.

I look at this thread and I feel like the answer should actually be "Steal My Sunshine," but I don't know why I feel that so strongly.
