I had a quick listen to the different tracks, they are not exactly the same, but point taken I guess about it being by someone else. That said, it seems like there's clearly a lot of weird behind the scenes stuff in this incident as well.

In other news, second the Nick Hoppner album, had it on high volume all afternoon. Airway Management is an early favorite.

heard this on a v large v crowded dancefloor last night w/ excellent sound and acoustics and lots of strobe lights, felt like I was ascending to heaven. I think I may be the biggest sucker for major-key arpeggios and shimmery droning synths

No surprise that this one's packing serious damage. '21 Versions' is razor-sharp, all twangy keys carrying an appropriate amount of prang, soaked in percussion and drums rumbling and clattering all the way through. Outrageous tune set to destroy soundsystems all over.

oh hey there is a compilation release of all the tracks kieran hebden put out as percussions over the last few years (iirc) that is really good

Loving the new Pender Street Steppers. The BC vibe seems to have a bit of 90s chillout mix nostalgia to it, which seems like a terrible idea on paper, but is hitting the spot.
