Considering I've listened to my top album more than my 2nd, 3rd and 4th combined, maybe I should give it a rest and expand the old palette.

All my Shortwave Set plays are from the Aeroplane and Mungolian Jet Set remixes of their singles. In that case Boat Club would have been next on the list.

it's probably my favourite thing to use last.fm for these days

lex pretend, Friday, 3 April 2009 17:37 (fifteen years ago) link

if you click on the "acts you have in common" on someone else's page, it automatically takes you to their library for that particular act, so you can see just which songs you have in common - that's how i discovered it i think

lex pretend, Friday, 3 April 2009 17:38 (fifteen years ago) link

i just went into my library and clicked on the number of plays next to the artist.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Friday, 3 April 2009 17:51 (fifteen years ago) link

Do you use firefox lex? if so, install greasemonkey and add any scripts you like the look of http://userscripts.org/scripts/search?q=last.fm

there's new scripts added all the time.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Friday, 3 April 2009 17:56 (fifteen years ago) link

they really all are the exact same mix...my top played is the 3min radio edit, the "vocal club mix" is just the extended mix, the Tomcraft rmx is really just a remix of the original Exceeder track, and the rest are just differently tagged versions from random comps. Both versions would have even more plays if I had had a scrobbling mp3 player back in 2007...christ it would probably have 1000 plays, i don't think i have ever played anything out quite like Perfect Exceeder.

lil waynes babymama (musically), Friday, 3 April 2009 20:14 (fifteen years ago) link

the ILXOR last.fm group has had 666 members for a while now...

lol, i'm getting messaged by some bossy polish teenager commanding me to delete the photo of tifa i uploaded to her page. apparently tifa isn't only an excellent dancehall princess, but also some dodgy bosnian rock singer :/

anyway, the message just read:

"Delete this photo from Tifa's profile
http://www.lastfm.pl/music/Tifa/+images/21672589
This is not Tifa, but some plastic chic.
Do not add such things next time!"

^^dunno about you but i consider that rude. so i am responding by asking all of you to go to http://www.last.fm/music/Tifa and vote for the photos of the "plastic chic" to piss the other tifa's wanker fans off.

and here is a great track by the REAL tifa

lex pretend, Sunday, 5 April 2009 11:16 (fifteen years ago) link

lex remember to vote no on the other guys pics, that's just as important to keeping his pics off your page.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Sunday, 5 April 2009 12:21 (fifteen years ago) link

You guys can now add me without sniggering. I've begun listening to proper music again. So no more Pooh (boo!) and other assorted Disney tunes. More Neil Young and Todd Rundgren. Whether that is a step up or down (for me) is yet to be decided. My handle is metalmuzak
