and did i really listen to nelly furtado this week?

lex pretend, Monday, 6 April 2009 14:48 (fifteen years ago) link

I don't know, Mordy. But I think it must be.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Monday, 6 April 2009 14:48 (fifteen years ago) link

here's mine:

http://lastfm.obsessive-media.de/weekly/3x5/groupy.jpeg

i format my albums on my ipod as "artist - album" so obviously it doesn't agree with last.fm. and if i have only some songs from an album i put them in the "aaa - Mix" album so I don't scroll through a bunch of incompletes. i'm obviously a rebel but the system seems to work for me.

"ILXor charts are up Yeah Yeah Yeahs are no1 in albums (and tracks)"

The've gone down to number 2. There must have been a flurry of late Radiohead scrobbles.

Good to see polls don't just have an effect on me, with everyone listening to Ghostface this week.

a hoy hoy, Monday, 6 April 2009 18:46 (fifteen years ago) link

Radiohead are top artists played but not top albums or tracks

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Monday, 6 April 2009 18:55 (fifteen years ago) link

haha jordan, it's sad that I figured out that was yours just from the first three

btw i don't listen to john legend, that's my brother

:/ that's one of my favorite albums of this decade.

tuppancewear party (The Reverend), Tuesday, 7 April 2009 02:34 (fifteen years ago) link

When I bought a pack of cds from Woolworths in their closing down sale, there was a john legend cd in amongst Portishead,Metallica, Plant & Krauss.
I've never played it.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Tuesday, 7 April 2009 19:32 (fifteen years ago) link

my super-eclectic score is 606/1000.

of course there is no context for that number whatsoever so the significance of it is lost on me.

it supposedly explains it, but I don't get it either.

They are in my top 10 in my quarterly :) It's just Skeletal Lamping is pretty hard going - as much as I really like it - a week of non stop listening to it was enough for a while.

Mine serves as a salutary reminder that, no matter how much interesting, unusual, obscure or otherwise out-there shit I listen to, I remain at heart a highly predictable 33-year-old Glasgow-based miserablist from the north-west of England. Who really, really likes Trans Am.

I'm at one with that, though, so hey.

And you only got into Trans Am a few years ago at the request of another scottish person.

Did I? *Thinks* ... no, hang on, I got into Trans Am at ATP (a few years ago, right enough!) when they blew my fucking head off. Now, that doesn't mean Another Scottish Person hadn't mentioned them, but it took that gig to open my eyes. And ears. And mind. Etc :)
