on a plain is the nirvana song I think of most.

I would have loved this to have been #1 more than any song that I know is going to follow, that's for sure! Still a little bit too high, though.

I remember the first time I heard 'On a Plain', the sudden vocal harmony on "love myself better than you" for me was just like "YEAH!"

Yeah, that's definitely a nice picked line (and I apparently actually have that album so I should probably just avoid talking about Dylan). Was Dylan playing it, though? Some writers credit Bruce Langhorne. I looked up a few live clips and saw Dylan strumming the chords in all of them.

Wow, surprised the results turned out so populist, as Morbs put it, in the end - I figured the reliably contrarian ILM, of all places, would have been sick of "Teen Spirit" by now. I harrumphed about the board's collective addiction to challops in my ballot email to Mark and yet I rooted against a #1 placing for "Teen Spirit" (as you can see, the song still made my list). Guess I'm part of the problem!
