Massien is the latest dance music producer to join the UK indie label, following Paul Woolford last month. XL say it's part of an ongoing effort to "reconnect with the spirit of the label's early days... built around a series of underground, club-focused, outsider rave 12-inches." They say Massien "harnesses that spirit" with the four-track Kontrol, which is roughly in line with the UK's bass-heavy deep tech scene

Future Times had their new comp up as a name-your-price joint when they launched their Bandcamp a week or two ago. I don't think it is NYP anymore. But dang it's good. Excellent jams from Huerco S, Max Dunbar, Protect-U, Jack J, etc.
